Publisher's Weekly has declared tomorrow National Bookstore Day! Go check out the list of participating bookstores in your area, and if you can't find your favorite local place on the list, go support them tomorrow anyway! Or, perhaps there's a hidden gem of a store right behind that huge Barnes & Noble by your house. Maybe you can find it here. Remember, hardcover books make great gifts and paperbacks are so light to carry, you might as well buy three.
Hope everyone has a great weekend. Aside from buying books, I will be participating in a massive scavenger hunt, finishing up Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro, and trying to figure out what to do with myself now that baseball is over. (I make no apologies for loving the Yankees!)
